Committed to Conserving Wildlife & Habitat

Founded in 1962, Pemberton Wildlife Association is arguably the oldest association in the Sea to Sky Corridor dedicated to promoting conservation, preservation, and enhancement of wildlife and outdoor recreational resources. Pemberton Wildlife Association is a volunteer-based, not-for-profit organization formed with the recognition that involvement in outdoor activities lead to true appreciation of nature, knowledge and advocation for conservation and protection.

Over the past 6 decades, the PWA  has played a very active role through science, conservation, education and ‘boots on the ground’ volunteer labour to safeguard fish, wildlife and wild places while maintaining access to forest, mountain and other recreational areas around our beautiful and pristine Valley.

$14K Total Donation

The Stewardship Pemberton Little Saplings programming instills a love and appreciation of nature from a very young age. In 2022, Little Saplings provided 81 environmental education and childcare spots for children ages 3 to 5.

$25K Donation

Early in 2020, the PWA donated $25K to the Nature Conservation of Canada for the acquisition of a property on the edge of the Ryan River in Pemberton.

The balance of the funds needed were realized in 2020 and the property was brought into permanent conservation.
